Instructions:
The object of the game is to get as many full sets of each card as possible. Each set is worth 1 point. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins.
1. For a group of 3-4 students deal out 5 cards to each student. The students keep their cards hidden. Players can decide themselves in what order they would like to play. The remaining stack of cards is left in a stack in the middle of the playing space and is called, "the pond".
2. The student to start can ask any other player for cards to match their own, by saying "Do you have(any) ...(s)?"
3. If the student asked has any of those cards, they must give ALL of them to the student who asked them, saying "Yes, I do. Here you are"
4. The student who asked must then show at least one of the matching cards in their hand to prove that they really had that match.
5. With any match the student whose turn it is may take another turn. They may ask any student including the one they just asked.
6. If the student asked doesn't have a requested card they must say, "No, I don't. Go Fish!"
7. The student who asked must pick a card from "the pond". If that card matches any of theirs, they must show one of their matching cards and may take another turn. If not, they say, "No match" and their turn is over.
8. The next player takes their turn.
9. If at any point, any of the students gets a set, they must put it down on the table. They receive one point and play continues with them.
10. If putting down their cards results in that player having no more cards, they may "go fish" from the pond. It is then the next player's turn.
11. Play ends when all the cards are in sets.
12. The players count their points to determine the winner.
