As I didn't get the job yesterday, I was feeling a little sorry for myself. One of the benefits of the job I have now, however is that it pays more. So, to cheer myself up, I wanted to buy something expensive.
Now that Toshiba has pulled out of the high-definition disk wars, it looks like Blu-ray is the future, so I decided to go and buy a Blu-ray drive for my PC. After work, I headed out to PC-Depot to see what they have. I don't usually buy much stuff from there as they are a little over-priced, but it's a good place to see what's about.
"Funny", I thought. "There doesn't seem to be a silver drive". Now, that's strange. I remember the last time I purchased a DVD drive, it was difficult to find anything apart from silver. Now, I can't find silver at all! You may wonder why I want a silver drive at all. Well, the rest of my PC is silver and I don't want it to look silly. To be honest, I was a bit upset that I couldn't get a silver PSU either.
Anyway. I got home and had a check on the internet. I checked Dospara and Kakaku, but I couldn't find any silver drives. Don't they even make them?

Hi Tom, I don't know about silver drives - but I am sorry about the job. However what will be, will be, and perhaps there is something else around the corner. Keep up the good work with cutting alcohol and losing weight.
