I hate this time of year. Well rather, I hate the climate. Having complained all summer about how humid it was, I am now complaining about how dry it is. So dry in fact, that I have become a walking static electricity generator. Every time I touch something metallic, I get a shock; doors, sinks, blackboards (yes they are actually metal) and even the edge of my desk. Last year I bought a small device to discharge the electricity. But I think I have lost it now. The worst thing is when I haven't touched anything metallic for a few hours and then get a huge shock from my locker or something similar. Ouch!
