Typhoon!

Well, we were battered by a typhoon all night and into the morning. I, nonetheless slept well with the metal shutters pulled down. It was a good thing too that they were, as we discovered on the morning news that the storm had shattered windows on a train at Narita station. Apparently 7 people were hurt. Because of the strong winds I left home a little later than usual. I caught the 7:55 instead of the 7:08. On the train I finally received a phone call from the school and was told that I need not be in until 11:00! Man! I could have been at home sipping coffee playing Medieval 2 Total War instead of at work killing time writing this blog.
